Happy Father's Day

I hope all the fathers here are having a great day today while being honored by their family & friends. Well to my surprise my Dad really like his gift, I guess I have to thank my mom for giving me her genes of being a good listener, & my gift giving streak continues LOL. Below is a poem I found on the net called "Did I Ever Say Thanks".

Did I ever say thanks
for all the toys you mended,
games we played,
outings to the park,
and the way you
always tried to cheer
me when I was down?

Did I ever say thanks for
the sacrifices you made
so I could be involved
in so many enriching

Did I ever say thanks for
working so hard
to provide for our family?

Did I ever say thanks
for having such faith in me
and always being there
when I needed you?

Most of all,
Did I ever say thanks for caring?

I have one thing to say on a vanilla note, when you attend church service for a special occasion like today, wearing a halter top is not freakin' cool. WTF, sometimes people should have received a lot more hugs as a kid & that might lessen the attention seeking during inappropriate times. As much as I love when we all come together, the irritation of "where are you going" & "no business calls or e-mail sending" never fades. O.K It's almost cake cutting time so I'll have to chat later.
